Property Enhancement Program
The Village of Lincolnwood has established a Property Enhancement Program (PEP) to help owners with improving and beautifying their business property. All business properties in the Village are eligible to be considered for this program.

By participating in PEP, owners can receive from the Village, up to 50% of the cost of making eligible exterior improvements to their property, up to a maximum grant of $50,000 from the Village. All work and participation in the program must be pre-approved by the Village.

Green Improvements for Tomorrow Program
The Village of Lincolnwood has established the Green Improvements for Tomorrow (GIFT) grant program to help business owners implement green initiatives that will benefit the environment. All business properties in the Village are eligible to be considered for this program.

By participating in GIFT, owners can receive from the Village, up to 50% of the cost of making eligible green improvements to their property, up to a maximum of $10,000 from the Village. All work and participation in the program must be pre-approved by the Village. As a condition of approval, the Village may require changes to the design or scope of work proposed. Village funds may be used in conjunction with other funding opportunities.

Important Program Notice

Suspension of Village-Wide PEP/GIFT Programs 

Due to budget considerations, the Village-Wide, Property Enhancement Program (PEP) and Green Improvements For Tomorrow (GIFT) grant program have been suspended for Fiscal Year 2009-2010. A one year moratorium on accepting applications for these two Village-Wide grant programs is now in-place, effective April 2009.  Applications may be accepted beginning in Spring 2010, subject to consideration of the Fiscal Year 2010-11 Village Budget.  These Village-Wide Programs are applicable to business properties in areas of the Village outside of the Lincolnwood Business Park

Continuation of Lincolnwood Business Park PEP/GIFT Programs 

Although the Village-Wide Property Enhancement Program (PEP) and Green Improvements For Tomorrow (GIFT) Program have been suspended for the Village-wide program, these programs are still available and applications are continuing to be accepted, (on a first come, first serve basis), for properties located in the Lincolnwood Business Park.  The Lincolnwood Business Park is located in the northeast section of Lincolnwood, generally in the area bounded by Pratt, Hamlin, Touhy and McCormick Blvd. (excluding the Lincolnwood Town Center Mall area).
