  The following projects are currently under construction:

Water Meter Replacement

The Village will be replacing most of its residential, industrial, and commercial water meters with new automated reading meters.  The water meter replacement program will allow the Village to electronically obtain more accurate information about water consumption, thus allowing the Village to detect problems such as water leaks and unusually high water bills quickly and efficiently. 

Construction of this project began in March and will continue into the summer of 2008.

In addition to the above mentioned projects, the following annual projects & programs are underway:

Every year the Public Works Department oversees many projects that are intended to improve quality of life in the Village. The following is a list of projects the department implements every year through Public Works staff or a private firm:

• Hydrant flushing
• Hydrant Replacement Program
• Sidewalk Replacement
• Parkway Tree Planting  (Completed for 2007, next planting in Spring 2008)
• Cross Connection Control
