Tree Replacement Program

As part of the Village's ongoing environmental effort and to adequately restock our urban forest, the Village will fully fund the replacement of trees removed by the Public Works Department.  Following the removal of any parkway tree, the Village Arborist will meet with each resident and determine the most appropriate tree to plant on the parkway.

If you would like to plant a new tree on the parkway where none had existed in the past few years, the Village will fund 50% of the total replacement cost.

A contractor will plant the trees in April, May, October, and November (as weather permits). The Village's Public Works Department will monitor the health of the tree during the initial growing season. The contractor will furnish tree-care instructions to each resident.
